Nicole, Thank you for sharing your presentation! It was very interesting to learn more about Emma Lou Diemer's life and musical aspects of her third piano sonata. A lot of things make more sense to me after hearing your explanation, like the 3+3+2 rhythms, the organ-like passages, and the Latin American influence of the third movement. I really enjoyed your performance back in February and hope to hear more by Diemer in the future!
